01About the site
Nikas Play is my personal website (I'm Nikas, from the Nikas Play channel on YouTube): game reviews, the games I'm playing, the channel's videos and, little by little, guides and a blog. The content is free and meant to inform and entertain.
02Reviews and opinions
- Reviews are my personal opinion, based on my experience with each game, on the version and platform I played. Your experience may differ, and that's fine.
- I don't give scores: I say what I liked, what I didn't and whether I recommend it or not (the same thing I marked on Steam).
- Games change with updates and expansions. A review shows the game as it was when I played it.
03Keys, partnerships and advertising
- Developers and publishers can send me game keys. Getting a key doesn't guarantee a review, let alone a positive one.
- Any content made from a key I received, a partnership or paid advertising is labeled as such, in the content itself.
- My opinion is never for sale.
04Steam prices and links
- Prices shown on the site come from the Steam store and are refreshed every few hours. They can change at any time (sales end!): what counts is the store price when you buy.
- Store links carry my Steam curator tag, which is only used for visit statistics. I don't earn any commission on your purchases.
05Guides and tips
Guides and tips are made with care, but every game can change with updates, and your progress may differ from mine. Follow them at your own discretion and back up your saves. I'm not responsible for lost saves (or for the boss that's still undefeated).
06Support (tips, subscriptions and memberships)
Supporting the site is voluntary: it's a tip (one-off or monthly) to help keep the site and the channel going. Monthly subscriptions and channel membership levels only include what each one describes on the Supporters page (for channel members, YouTube's own perks, such as badges and emojis); other than that, support doesn't entitle you to anything in return or to exclusive content, nor does it create any obligation. Supporters' names show up on the site's wall, unless they ask to stay anonymous (or, later, to have their name removed).
Payments are made on Ko-fi, LivePix (Pix) or YouTube, which have their own terms; questions about payments, billing, cancellation, receipts or refunds are handled with them.
07Contact form
- The information you send must be true, and you're responsible for what you send.
- Don't send documents, passwords or banking details through the form.
- I read every message, but I can't always reply to all of them. Offensive messages, spam and unsolicited advertising are ignored.
- For security, the IP address, date and time of each submission are recorded, and Cloudflare Turnstile blocks bots. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
08Using the site
You're free to browse, read, watch and send me messages. By using the site, you agree not to:
- use it for illegal purposes, fraud or in any way that harms the site or other people;
- send someone else's data without permission, false information, offensive content, viruses or malicious code through the form;
- try to access restricted areas, get around the site's protections (including the bot check) or overload the servers;
- copy the content in bulk to republish it as your own.
Search engines and AI assistants may read the site, following the robots.txt rules. Anyone who breaks these rules may be blocked.
09Content and intellectual property
The texts, videos, mascot (the little cow), logo and look of the site belong to Nikas Play and are protected by copyright law. The games, names, covers, images and trademarks mentioned belong to their owners and appear here for review, criticism and information. You can share links and quote short excerpts, always with credit and a link; any other reproduction, use of the mascot or commercial use requires my permission.
10Third-party links and services
The site links to other services, such as Steam, YouTube, social media, Ko-fi and LivePix. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for their content or practices: when you use them, their own terms and policies apply.
11Availability and liability
The site is carefully maintained to stay online, secure and accurate, but it may go through maintenance, technical failures or outages beyond my control. To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for damages caused by such outages, by third parties misusing the site or by decisions based solely on its content. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumers have under the law.
12Privacy
The handling of personal data, cookies and the bot check follow the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
13Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the rights consumers have under the law of the country where they live.
